Available in Two Sizes

SmartTagTM is available in two sizes – SmartTagTM and SmartTag+TM – with the latter’s larger capacity allowing you spray for a longer duration. This is particularly useful when tagging a moving target such as a moped. PLEASE NOTE – that all SmartTagTM units are single-use only and can only be dispensed once per criminal incident for evidential reasons.

Staff / Police Training

PLEASE NOTE – comprehensive training is required by all users to ensure the correct use of the SmartTagTM. This product can only be purchased by an accredited organisation or Police force whose users have gone through the training course provided by SmartWater.

  • How SmartTag Works

TAG AND IDENTIFY CRIMINALS

SmartWater SmartTagTM draws upon SmartWater’s proven track record to provide a robust and effective response to threatening behaviour, fear of attack and other criminal behaviour, such as moped-enabled crime.
Upon dispersal, SmartTagTM will deploy a stream uniquely coded liquid to accurately, forensically tag offenders from up to 8-10m away.
SmartTagTM is deal for Police and law enforcement officers, allowing for discrete tagging and identification of offenders, as well being used to reduce the risk of attack for ‘at risk’ personnel, such as security guards, door staff, shopkeepers and hospital staff.

DETER

SmartWater® is first and foremost, a powerful deterrent. This is due to the fact that it is the SmartWater brand that deters criminals, as they are aware of the potential consequences to them and that SmartWater retains a 100% conviction rate in Court when used as evidence.
High-visiblity deterrent armbands are supplied to send out a powerful warning to would-be criminals.

SPRAY

Every SmartTagTM handheld identification spray carries a unique forensic code, linking them with a specific crime scene long after the incident has taken place.
Used in the same way as an aerosol - simply pull the safety pin, aim at the attacker and press, marking them with a discreet forensic liquid.
SmartWater forensic liquid is invisible to the naked eye but glows bright red (COMMERCIAL USE) or bright yellow-green (POLICE USE) under UV light, which is how it is detected.
Compact, easy-to-use and non-threatening appearance, so does not heighten tension at the scene of an incident.
Available in two sizes - SmartTagTM and SmartTag+TM.

TRACE

SmartWater forensic liquid is near impossible to remove and will remain on skin and hair for weeks or months, even with frequent washing.
Should arrests be made, SmartWater scientists will analyse traces of SmartWater found on the offender to identify the unique forensic code, linking it back to a specific crime scene / incident. .
If necessary, SmartWater scientists will attend Court to help secure conviction - at no extra cost to the Police..
SmartWater scientists only require trace the size of a speck of dust to link the offender back to a crime scene.
